About the Speakers:

Sharlene Baergen-Fladager, B.Sc., M.Ed - Sharlene has been living with Crohnes Disease for 46 years, an ileostomy for 40 year, SBS for almost 20 years and TPN off and on for 24 years.  At this time she is coming to terms with needing to be on TPN permanently.  She often says she can live without TPN but she can thrive with TPN.

Part of thriving for Sharlene is traveling and using her background as an educator to help others living with chronic health issues thrive in their own lives.

Doing the research and talking to various people about their experiences travelling with TPN has been an inspiration to her and she is looking forward to doing more travelling in the future and sharing what she has learned about the ups and downs of traveling, specifically camping, with TPN with you today.

Other activities that bring joy to Sharlene are spending time with her husband and dog, gardening, walking, spending time in nature and connecting with others.

She is looking forward to continued involvement with CPPENA.
